Introduction
The laboratory experiments for the EEE407/591 are all computer based and can be done from any computer which is connected to the internet and has Internal Explorer or Netscape version 4.0 or better with Java execution capabilities. To assist you in accomplishing the lab excercises, you will be provided with different Java programs which you are required to use.
Format of Lab Reports
The lab reports for the EEE407/591 will be submitted on the Bb through myASU and will consist of 2 parts. The first part is an online quiz which requires you to answer a series of multiple choice questions, short answer questions and provide your comments about the work you have done in the lab. The second part of the report will request that you upload a word file containing the graphs that you produce while doing the lab.
How to Do the Online Quiz.
Go to ASU Blackboard System and login use your username and password. Find EEE407/591 in the system. Click on " J-DSP Laboratory", then click on the specific lab that you are asked to finish. Answer all the multiple choice questions by clicking on the correct answer and respond to the rest of the questions by typing your answers into the text boxes. You can save each question by simply clicking on "Save" next to your question. For graphs, you need to submit a ".word" file which contains all graphs in the same lab, and upload it to the Bb system. When you are finished answering the questions, press the "Save and Submit" button at the bottom of the page to send your work in for grading. Also, if you need more time to finish your quiz, you can click on "Save" button which is next to the "Save and Submit" button so you can come back and finish it. After a few seconds, the information you submit should appear on your screen so you can verify that it was saved properly. If, after you have submit your quiz, you wish to change some of your answers, you will have to retake the quiz, fill out the entire form again and resubmit. All information should be submitted on or before 11:59pm of the due date. If possible, it is wise to not wait until the night the lab is due to submit since the server computer may become very congested at these times.
How to Save Screenshots in One World File
Use the "PrintScreen" button on the keyboard to take the screenshots, then go
to "Paint". Cut only the graph and paste it to one word file. Label each graph
correctly. Please do NOT upload single screenshot individually or save all
screenshots in a zip file.
